Trading Technologies to Open Tokyo Office

CHICAGO, June 13, 2005 - Trading Technologies International, Inc. (TT) today announced plans to establish a sales and support office in Tokyo, Japan. The operation, which is expected to open this summer, will serve as TT's headquarters in the Asia/Pacific region. The Tokyo location will become TT's second office in the region; the company established a Sydney, Australia facility in 2003.

"Asia has a large, strong economy and it represents a tremendous growth opportunity for us. This move into Asia by way of Tokyo will allow us to provide dedicated local service to our customers who already operate in this region. We also will aggressively expand our customer portfolio there as we focus on building a strong presence in this vibrant market," said Harris Brumfield, TT's CEO.

This move comes as TT continues to expand its operations in North America and Europe. The firm recently completed a significant expansion of its Chicago headquarters with an 86,000-square-foot lease extension that nearly doubles the size of TT's current operation. The company also will relocate its London and Frankfurt offices over the next two months to accommodate growth. TT employs approximately 350 worldwide, an increase of more than 100% in the past 18 months.
