Bridging the Gap Between Higher Education & Industry

Recently, the Chicago Tribune in Chicago’s future hinges on retooling schools for digital age reported, “The country is being forced to examine the ways in which it prepares its students for the working world. Graduating from a four-year college has long been viewed as the surest path to success. Yet many undergraduates are emerging thousands of dollars in debt while still lacking a clear career path.”

TT Commits to Analytics with New Unit, Hires

Tech firm Trading Technologies plans to boost its charting and analytics capabilities with the creation of a business unit and appointment of an industry expert to lead the developing initiative. The electronic derivatives trading technology company is reorganising a number of its business structures and has hired electronic trading veteran Joe Koehnen from software firm CQG to lead its new ‘charting and analytics’ unit.

Undeniable Ease

Forbes Magazine recently highlighted International Data Corporation (IDC) research which estimates that by 2018 nearly 28 percent of all worldwide enterprise applications will be delivered via software-as-a-service (SaaS), generating revenue of approximately $50B. In 2013, these numbers were 16.6 percent and $22.6B respectively.
