May 3rd: Launch of SGX MSCI China Index Futures and Options

 

On Tuesday, May 3rd, SGX will launch the MSCI China Index Futures and Options contracts.

 

TT Impact:

 

In order to trade these products, customers must apply an updated pMerge file on all SGX Gateways.  The updated pMerge file is available in the Download Center on the TT Website here.

 

To apply the pMerge file, complete the following steps:

  1. Copy the attached SGX.pmg file to <drive letter>:\tt\config.
  2. Stop GuardServer.
  3. Navigate to <drive letter>:\tt\bin.
  4. Double-click pMerge.exe. The Enter Exchange Name window appears.
  5. Specify the exchange name and flavor and click OK. The Open Guardian product table merge file window appears.
  6. Navigate to <drive letter>:\tt\config and select the SGX.pmg file.
  7. Note: pMerge will update the existing Guardian Product Table with the correct values. After pMerge completes its tasks, the pMerge status bar displays Finished.
  8. Close the pMerge status bar.
  9. Start GuardServer.

Note: The above-listed steps need to be repeated for each SGX Gateway.

After pMerge runs, verify that the Guardian Product Table contains the following values:

FMDS Trade Calendar Update

FMDS Trade Calendar Update

FMDS TradeCalendar.xml and TradeCalendar_primary.xml files have been updated and are currently available for download via the Miscellaneous  section of the TT Download Center.

This calendar update includes daylight savings time adjustments for three ICE Products; Sugar, Cocoa and Coffee, as well as changes for several May holidays.

Please update as soon as possible.

To upload these files to FMDS:

  • Navigate to <drive letter>:\tt\config.
  • Back up existing TradeCalendar.xml and TradeCalendar_primary.xml files.
  • Copy the latest TradeCalendar.xml and TradeCalendar_primary.xml files downloaded from the TT Download Center into this directory.

Second Quarter 2016 License Updates

Second Quarter 2016 License Updates

Updated and amended second quarter license files have been distributed to TT customers. Please contact your TT Sales representative if you have not received your license file. The new file must be installed via Guardian prior to April 15, 2016, or you will not be able to trade.

April 15: New Server Certificates for Eurex Clearing FIXML Interface

After the close of trading on Friday, April 15th, Eurex will install new SSL/TLS certificates on the AMQP brokers used for the Eurex Clearing FIXML Interface in production, as the current certificates will expire soon. These certificates are used on TT Eurex and GMEX Gateways for FIXML OTC order entry.

TT Impact

After the close of trading on April 15th, customers should take the following actions:

Those customers not using TT Eurex and GMEX Gateways for FIXML OTC order entry

  • No actions needed

Those customers who require FIXML order entry on TT Eurex and GMEX Gateways

  • Customers who are running their Eurex gateways on Windows Server 2003 must apply the following hotfix, here

NOTE: Windows Server 2008 and higher do not need this hotfix

  • Customers must upgrade to TT Eurex Gateway 7.17.82 and TT GMEX Gateway 7.17.79, which will be released prior to April 15.
