UPDATE: Missing Fills on BrokerTec Gateways

On April 24 we sent CA009-19, informing customers of a BrokerTec side change that caused BrokerTec fills to be removed from X_TRADER when a client application was closed during the trading session.  Following changes made by Brokertec on June 14, this issue has been resolved, and normal fill retention within TT client applications has been restored.

Incorrect Tick Size for Mini S&P (ES) Options

As of the June 10 trade day, some customers have reported the Mini S&P (ES) quarterly and weekly options have been showing incorrect tick sizes. Those customers who host their own TT CME Gateways should roll back to the previous CME Gateway version (7.18.46.1p128, which is also available on the TT website or via your Technical Account Manager). Note that by rolling back, the fix for the issue where UDS contracts that existed prior to CME’s mid-week deletion and are re-created mid-week were appearing as expired will be reintroduced. It is recommended that customers roll back a secondary price server prior to the CME maintenance period between 4 pm and 5 pm so that the rolled back price server will be available during the maintenance period to receive settlement and contract information from the exchange. Following the maintenance period, customers can then fail over to the rolled back price server

TTNET will be performing maintenance specific to the hosted environment this afternoon in an attempt to restore the proper tick sizes.

From the CME exchange concerning UDS deletions in Eurodollar Options:

CME Group will be deleting all User-Defined Spread Instruments (UDS) on CME Eurodollar Options Market Segment 50 and NYMEX / COMEX Options Market Segment 56 during today’s maintenance window, 6/6/2019. Any UDS with resting GT orders will not be deleted.

As a reminder, UDS instruments can be deleted midweek. When this occurs, CME Globex sends a Security Definition message (tag 35=d) with the instruction to delete the instrument with tag 980-SecurityUpdateAction=D (delete).

A tag 48-SecurityID value from a deleted instrument can be reassigned to a newly listed instrument within the same week; therefore, CME Group strongly recommends the client system process the Security Definition message with the tag 980=D as received.
