Algo SE stores its log files in the folder specified by the AConfig.Core.LogfileDir parameter in the Aconfig_local.xml file. The value of the AConfig.Core.LoggingSeverityLevel.AppSpecificLogFile parameter controls the level of logging detail that Algo SE writes to its log files. Possible values include:
- -1: Error
- 0: Warning
- 1: Transactional
- 2: Info
- 3: Detailed
- 4: Debug
Algo SE names its log files with the following format:
<Algo SE flavor>_<mode>_OrderServer_<date>.log
- <Algo SE flavor> is the Flavor of Algo SE that is running (e.g., AlgoSE-A or AlgoSE-B)
- <mode> is either PROD (if the mode of Algo SE is set for productions) or SIM (if the mode is set for simulation)
- <date> consists of YYYY-MM-DD, where YYYY is the year, MM is the month, and DD is the day
Managing Log Files
The TT Algo SE Gateway erases all of its own log files older than ten days. TT recommends that you also delete all log files older than a month on a regular basis. Before deleting them, you can also create backup copies for needed for auditing purposes.
You can set configure ttclean to archive or delete the log files automatically. For more information, refer to the TT Gateway Architecture System Administration Manual.
