Configuring the Price Server Connection
To establish a Price Server connection to the exchange, you must configure the following parameters in the [PriceServer] sections of the hostinfo.cfg file:
Configuring the Price Server Parameters
One FIX session for prices needs to be configured in the Hostinfo file. This single price session processes prices for all Eris and GovEx products. The following list contains the connection parameters for the Price API connection:
To configure the Price Server parameters
- Open <root drive:>ttconfigHostinfo.cfg in a text editor (e.g., Notepad).
- Configure the following parameters:

This is the section heading.
Sets the IP address that the Eris/GovEx Gateway uses to connect the price session to the exchange. The exchange assigns this value.
Sets the port that the Eris/GovEx Gateway uses to connection to the exchange. The exchange assigns this value.
ISets the FIX Market Data ID of the firm that requests market data via the Eris/GovEx Gateway. This field supplies the value of Tag 49 in all outbound price session messages from the Eris/GovEx Gateway. Enter the FIX Market Data ID provided by the exchange.
Sets the name of the exchange host that sends market data to the Eris/GovEx Gateway. This field supplies the value of the Tag 56 in all inbound price session messages to the Eris/GovEx Gateway. Enter the TargetCompID provided by the exchange. The default value is ER
Sets the password the Price Server uses to connect to the exchange for price data. This must match the password distributed by the exchange.
Sets the IP address and port of a proxy host if one is required to establish an FTP connection to the exchange. Configure the parameter as: FTPProxy=<IP address>:<port>
