X_TRADER Customer Defaults MiFiD II

 

You can define a profile on the Customer Defaults dialog box to establish all of the most common order variables by customer name for each customer. You can add a new profile or change the profile of a current customer at any time. By changing the Customer Defaults profile, all subsequent orders for that customer are affected.

The fields in the Customer Defaults dialog box are defined as follows:

Column Description

Direct Electronic Access

Sets whether or not the order is sent from direct/sponsored access, or from another source. Required for order routing on the following EMEA exchanges: ICE (Europe), Euronext, NASDAQ. Valid values:

  • None
  • True
  • False
 
Trading Capacity

Indication of a user dealing on own account, trading in a matched principal trading capacity, or trading in any other trading capacity. Valid values: 

  • DEAL
  • MATCH
  • AOTC
 

Liquidity Provision (MM or Not)

Indication of market making. Valid values: 

  • None
  • True
  • False
 

Commodity Derivative Indicator

Indication of whether the order is for hedging purposes to reduce risk. Valid values: 

  • None
  • True
  • False
 
Investment Decision

Indication of who made the trading decision. Free Text (up to 15 characters).

Execution Decision

Indication of who (or what algo, if applicable) submitted the order. Free Text (up to 15 characters).

Client

Identification of the customer (LEI/Short Code). Free Text (up to 15 characters).

FFT4

Free Text (up to 15 characters).

FFT5

Free Text (up to 15 characters).

FFT6
