Parameters

The following table describes the [PriceServer] parameters:

[PriceServer] parameters

Parameter

Description

[PriceServer]

Sets the section header. Do not change the section header from the default value.

Templates

(Deprecated in 7.16 and higher)

Must equal the location of the XDPTemplates.xml file. TT Gateways automatically update this parameter to map to the installation directory.

Only change the value of this parameter if you change the location of the XDPTemplates.xml file.

Note

TT Gateways 7.16 and higher do not require this parameter.

MulticastGroup1

Sets the name for each multicast group the TT Gateway subscribes to. TT Gateways install with the correct values listed for the MulticastGroup# parameters and do not require an additional configuration.

To increase performance, users may comment out a multicast group by adding a hash symbol (#) before the particular multicast channel.

Standingdataproxysrvr

Sets the IP address and port of the TT proxy server that connects to the FTP site over the Internet. This is an optional parameter. If your gateway machine has internet access, this parameter does not need to be configured.

StandingDataServer

Sets the DNS address or IP address provided by the exchange to access the FTP standing data server. TT Gateways use the FTP server for initial product download.

StandingDataUser

Sets the user name, provided by the exchange, to access the FTP standing data server.

StandingDataPass

Sets the user password, provided by the exchange, to access the FTP standing data server.

ReplayID

Sets the login information for the exchange replay server. You must populate the ReplayID1 parameter with the Source ID provided by the exchange.

You must use at least one Source ID per TT Gateway. You may utilize additional Source IDs to improve gateway performance during recovery by adding ReplayID parameters.

You must assign each ReplayID parameter with a sequential number (e.g., ReplayID1, ReplayID2) when utilizing additional Source IDs.

NetworkInterface

Sets the IP address for a dedicated network interface card (NIC) in trading environments that utilize multiple NICs.

For a description of the XDPTemplate.xml file and its function, refer to XDPTemplates.xml File.

For a description of a multiple NIC network configuration, refer to Configuring Multiple NIC Setup.
