Section name

GatewayCompany

Sets Tag 49 (SenderCompId) on all FIX messages that the SFE Gateway sends to the FIX host for that connection.

GatewaySessionID

Sets Tag 50 (SenderSubId) on all FIX messages that the SFE Gateway sends to the FIX host for that connection.

SessionPassword

Sets the value of Tag 96 (RawData) in the login message of the SFE Gateway.

ExchangeIP

Sets the IP address of the FIX Host to which this order session connects.

ExchangePort

Sets the port number of the FIX Host to which this order session connects.

LogFixMessagesToDisk

Sets whether the SFE Gateway generates SendRecv log files:

  • 1: The Gateway generates log files.
  • 0: The Gateway does not generate log files.
Note

On 7.2.1 the values were Y and N. In 7.3.0 the values are 1 and 0. By default, this is set to 0.

MessageCacheFile

Sets the name of the file SFE Gateways use to store FIX messages. The default value is MessageCache.

BroadcastMarketPhaseChangeMessages

New in Version 7.13

Determines whether Market Phase Change messages from the Exchange are broadcasted to the client applications. Once broadcasted, these messages are visible in the Audit Trail. BroadcastMarketPhaseChangeMessages has the following values:

  • Y: All Market Phase Change messages will be broadcasted.
  • N: Market Phase Change messages on contracts will not be broadcasted.

By default, BroadcastMarketPhaseChangeMessages is commented out and the Gateway behaves as if it is set to Y.

ImpliedPricePriority

This parameter has been removed in Version 7.14. The functionality this provided has been replaced by the [ReservedSubscriptions] section.

Sets subscriptions to the At-Best Messages.

When configuring the Gateway to subscribe to specific products, you must include both the product name and the month expiry in a comma-separated line. For example, the parameter line may look like this:
