Verifying Order Sessions
You can verify the connectivity status of each order session using the View Status option in Guardian by logging in as an Administrator. Each order session appears in Guardian as a separate Order Router. The session name appears as Router with a Guardian-assigned number at the end (e.g., Router1). GatewayCompany (FIX Tag 49 SenderCompID) and the GatewaySessionID (FIX Tag 50 SenderSubID) information appear under the status column.
SFE Gateways allow orders to be submitted with omnibus accounts. If you choose to use an omnibus account, you must provide the omnibus account number in the FFT3 field of X_TRADER®s Customer Defaults. The SFE Gateway forwards the omnibus account number to the exchange as if the omnibus account was entered in the Account field of the order. This allows the user to use their normal Account field for internal identification purposes.
Additionally, for all order confirmations and fills, the SFE Gateway displays the omnibus account number in X_TRADER®s FFT3 field and provides the trader’s original account number in the Account field.
The FFT2 field in the Customer Defaults section in X_TRADER® will populate Tag 58 in the TT SFE Gateway. In X_TRADER® Version 7.5.2 and later, the contents of the FFT2 field can be changed within the Fill window after a trade occurs.
The exchange imposes a 6 character limit for the FFT2 field.
