Alert Manager Field Descriptions

1. Manage Alerts Definitions

 

ButtonsDescription

Adds a new alert.

Clone the selected alert.

Deletes the selected alert.

Move the selected alert down.

Note: Moving an alert up or down in order has no precedence on an alert triggering.

2. Enable/Disable Alerts

Indicates that an alert is active.

Indicates that an alert is inactive.

3. Alert Condition

 

ButtonsDescription

Expand the alert to show alert details.

Collapse the alert to hide alert details.

4. Alert Description

 

FieldDescription

A short description of the alert.

5. Reset Time

 

FieldsDescription

Indicates the reset frequency of the alert repeat:

  • Once: Alert only triggers once.
  • Repeat every: Alert notification repeats if the specified condition is met, regardless if reset became false when the repeat is due/time expires.
  • Repeat w/ reset every: Alert notification triggers again ONLY if the condition resets (i.e., becomes false) and is true when the repeat is due/time expires.

The numeric amount of the reset time.

The alert frequency duration in hours, minutes, or seconds.

6. Alert Type

Allows you to select the color of the alert when it is triggered.

Allows you to select the sound of the alert when it is triggered.

Allows you to activate a pop-up message when it is triggered.

Allows you to send an email message when the alert is triggered.

Note: You will first need to configure the Alerts tab within Properties before this can be activated.

7. Alert Tabs

 

TabsDescription

Allows you to keep your alerts organized. Use the Clone function from the Alerts Manager context menu to copy an existing alerts tab.
