Use the Alerts menu to set properties for the Alerts Manager window.
Enable email alerts
Enables all Alerts tab settings. When unchecked, all the settings are grayed out.
Server: Sets the target email exchange server. Enter up to 60 characters. If enabled and this field is blank, you will be prompted to enter an SMTP server name.
Port: Sets the TCP port of the email exchange server. Enter a numeric value from 1-65535. If enabled and this field is blank, you will be prompted to enter a positive numeric value.
Enable SSL: Enables or disables the Secure Sockets Layer protocol to secure email transmissions.
Server Authentication: Enter a username and password for server authentication. If enabled and this field is blank, you will be prompted to enter these user credentials.
Send Test Email: Sends a test email to the sender email address defined in the From: field in the Messages pane.
From: Enter a single email address only for the sender. If blank, you’ll be prompted to enter a sender address.
Display as: Enter an alias to display in the received email “From” field that precedes the sender email address.
To: Enter a single email address or multiple addresses using a ';' (semicolon) and a space to separate multiple addresses. Up to twenty email addresses can be entered.
Subject: Enter the subject of the message.Include alert name: Appends the name of the alert to the end of the Subject field.
