We are currently seeking driven and talented Software Engineers who thrive on pushing the limits of technology to produce state-of-the-art trading applications. In this role, you will be working with web-based Fixed Income Trading Systems.
What Will You Be Involved With?
- Developing web-based Fixed Income Trading Systems
- Developing front-end components
- Working on an existing Monolithic code base and evolving Microservices system
- Writing automated tests and taking ownership of code quality
- Collaborating with other members of your team to solve customer problems
- When necessary, act as a 3rd line of support for incident/problem management
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
What You Bring to the Table
- At least 3 Years of experience with modern web frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue or Svelte – our systems are built with Svelte and Angular, so these are especially valuable
- Ability to create compelling and accessible user interfaces in HTML, CSS and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Awareness or experience of Microservices and Event-Driven Architectures, including websockets and streaming APIs
- Ability to gain an understanding of workflows and customer needs in a complex domain (Fixed Incoming trading), with the support of product and user-experience colleagues.
- Familiarity with agile/iterative development
- Able to work with others either in person or remotely involving team members who may be in different time zones
