Due to remarkable growth and new product initiatives, Trading Technologies wants to add a Head of IT to our Chicago office. This position will be responsible for leading our Internal technology and business systems department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our Internal IT infrastructure and ensuring the smooth operation of our business systems. They will also be responsible for leading a team of IT professionals, developing IT policies and procedures, and identifying opportunities for technology innovation and improvement.
What You Will Be Doing
- Develop and implement the company’s Internal IT and business systems strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and objectives.
- Oversee the management of the company’s Internal IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems, to ensure they are reliable, secure, and efficient.
- Collaborate in the development and implementation of IT policies, procedures, and standards that comply with relevant regulations and best practices.
- Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring the effective use of resources and the delivery of cost-effective solutions.
- Manage and mentor a team of IT professionals, including setting goals and objectives, providing feedback and coaching, and conducting performance evaluations.
- Identify opportunities for technology innovation and improvement, including evaluating new technologies, assessing their potential impact, and recommending solutions.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure that technology and business systems are aligned with their needs and objectives.
- Monitor and report on IT and business systems performance, including uptime, security, and user satisfaction.
- Ensure that disaster recovery and business continuity plans are in place and regularly tested.
