Senior Human Resources Business Partner/Internal Recruiter

 

Trading Technologies creates professional trading software, infrastructure and data solutions for a wide variety of users, including proprietary traders, brokers, money managers, CTAs, hedge funds, commercial hedgers and risk managers. In addition to providing access to the world’s major international exchanges and liquidity venues via its TT® trading platform, TT offers domain-specific technology for cryptocurrency trading and machine-learning tools for real-time trade surveillance.

Position Summary

Our Human Resources team is looking for a Senior HR Business Partner/Internal Recruiter to join our global company. In this role you will own the following functions: global recruitment, onboarding, our summer intern program, DEI initiatives and US immigration. Additionally you will manage HR-related global compliance matters; and handle other HR ad hoc projects. Candidates should be task oriented; possess a positive, will do attitude; desire for a long-term HR career; and excellent interpersonal and communication skills

What you can expect to learn within three months:

  • Insight into TT’s recruitment and taking responsibility for proactive recruitment for all open reqs
  • Develop strategy for proactive intern recruitment and begin development of summer intern program
  • Working knowledge of TalentHub (LinkedIn ATS), including LinkedIn projects
  • Develop insight into TT security policies and diligence toward SOC-2/GDPR compliance
  • General overview of TT’s DEI initiatives
  • Develop a general understanding of the following:
  • Workday HRIS functions, including the following Workday portals: onboarding, compensation benchmarking, assistant, tax, community, funding and customer support
  • TT’s payroll process and entry-level initiation and reconciliation of US payroll
  • Human Resources processes and company programs
  • Global handbook policies and all benefit plan descriptions
  • US and international payroll processes and statutory regulations and time off/leave plans
  • TT Security policies and procedures, and how it interacts with HR functions
  • TT’s immigration practices and all the moving pieces

What you can expect to be responsible for within six months:

  • Launch/manage annual summer intern program
  • Build and run reports through HRIS & ATS
  • Manage employee handbook updates and compliance
  • Oversee security audits, relating to SOC-2, for staff across the organization
  • Develop a general understanding of immigration practices and procedures
  • Onboarding employees
  • Collaborate with HR team in advancing programs such as: anti-harassment training, diversity, inclusion and equality
  • Act as back-up and assist with payroll, compensation and performance management

What you can expect to own and continually expand upon by the end of the first year:

  • Complete autonomy in running global recruitment and US immigration
  • Develop and launch a sophisticated DEI program
  • A general understanding of US/global payroll and the ability to backup colleagues as needed
  • Partner with Human Resources colleagues to continually bolster and expand upon programs across the organization
  • Involvement with international relocations, as applicable

Qualifications & TT Culture

  • What you bring to the table.
  • Progressive Human Resources experience, preferably in a fast-paced company within the FinTech industry a plus
  • Proven track record of full-cycle global recruitment, including technical recruitment, and managing multiple open reqs, along with other assigned HR duties
  • Ability to work closely with hiring managers to develop strategies to attract and retain high quality talent
  • Strong knowledge of HR compliance and recruiting laws and an understanding of state and federal employment laws and regulations required
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills problem solving skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize and organize work
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and, ideally, G-Suite (Google) applications and familiarity with applicant tracking systems
  • Knowledge of Workday (HRIS) necessary
  • A strong understanding of HR strategy and developing/maintaining team goals
  • The ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and use independent judgment and integrity
  • Proven success at excelling in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment with adaptability to change
  • Global/US payroll knowledge a plus
  • HR certification preferred, but not required
