Account Manager

Location: Japan-Tokyo

Due to multiple new product initiatives, Trading Technologies is looking to add a Technical Account Manager (TAM) to oversee the post-sales relationship between our customers and TT in our Tokyo office.  Our ideal candidate will be a passionate, detail-oriented individual who is fanatical about client service and is relentlessly committed to helping our customers succeed by any means necessary.  You will be tasked with managing onboarding and ongoing service delivery for an assigned group of clients. A successful TAM will develop strong relationships, ensure customer satisfaction and assist in ensuring your clients continually derive value from our product and services. The TAM will serve as the client advocate internally and act as the central liaison between the client, support and product teams for any feature requests, product feedback or escalation of any critical service issues.




  • Own an assigned set of clients, maintaining and developing strong relationships
  • Assist in initial onboarding of clients onto the TT platforms
  • Conduct recurring meetings and calls to facilitate open communication and ensure optimal service delivery for TT
  • Act as customer advocate within TT, ensuring client needs are addressed in a timely and thorough manner, leveraging other individuals and departments within TT as needed
  • Use project management methodologies to track and drive customer needs, technical solutions, and optimal service delivery
  • Coordinate any needed training on TT’s software and overall service offering
  • Identify ways we can be consistently delighting our customers
  • Liaise with Japanese exchanges on behalf of the company to help facilitate necessary collaboration and product development tasks



  • Experience supporting a Microsoft or Linux based environment
  • Must be bilingual in English and Japanese (written and verbal)
  • Firm understanding of networking concepts
  • Experience leading high-profile technical projects
  • Experience managing multiple customer accounts
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Effective cross-department communication skills.
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Prior experience in the financial / futures industry, a plus
  • Prior experience supporting TT software, a plus
