Job Title: Test Engineers

Location:  Chicago, IL

Responsibilities:

Work to improve the quality of high-performance, software testing for enterprise trading applications. Write, plan, execute automated and manual test cases, scripts and system server stability testing. Uncover software issues in a trading platform through testing and provide feedback to enhance the end user experience. Maintain automation stability racks. Use FIX protocols to understand send and receive messages across servers for debugging purposes. Create macros to support automation scripts. Test native applications on iOS, Android. Reproduce, investigate and debug software issues in coordination with development and testing teams. Technical environment: Python, Selenium driver, waterfall, agile, multi-threaded applications, object oriented design, web development, SQL, PHP/Javascript, Git, Linux, Jira, Wireshark and TCP dump.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Information Technology plus two years of experience in the job offered or as an analyst/programmer or with software testing OR Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Information Technology plus five years of experience in the job offered or as an analyst/programmer or with software testing required.

Required SkillsHands on experience/proficiency writing, planning, executing automated and manual test cases, scripts and system server stability testing, and testing native applications on iOS, Android; creating macros to support automation scripts; proficiency with multi-threaded applications, object oriented design, Selenium, Wireshark/TCP dump, Git, Linux, Python; maintaining automation stability racks.
