Fundamental Analytics Documentation

Data Analysis Displays

The Analysis drawer in each module contains several charts that allow the user to compare and visualize price data from multiple instruments with multiple sets of fundamental data in various ways.

Compare Futures

This chart allows the user to compare two futures contracts or spreads on a single graph. The price scale of the first series is on the left axis, and the price scale of the second series is on the right axis.

Days to Expiration Spreads

This chart displays prices and or open interest for multiple contracts with the x-axis being days until expiration instead of the actual date. The price scale for price is on the left axis, and the price scale for open interest is on the right axis.

Long Timeseries

This overlays the display of multiple futures contracts and or fundamental data series on a single chart. The values can be normalized (default) or not.

Scatter

This plots the value of a product on the y-axis against the value of a fundamental data point (default) or another product on the x-axis.

Series

This overlays the display of multiple products and or fundamental data series on a single chart. The values can be normalized (default) or not. It is different from Long Timeseries in the fact that you do not pick specific contracts (delivery month and year) but rather a delivery month that is displayed continuously. The values can be normalized (default) or not.

Time Series

This chart displays a continuous view of a specific delivery month or spread to either a single fundamental data series (default) or another delivery month or spread of the same or different product. The price scale of the first series is on the left axis, and the price scale of the second series is on the right axis.
