MultiBroker solution among offerings that set TT apart in Asia/Pacific region

CHICAGO, IL, September 25, 2014 – Trading Technologies International, Inc. (TT), a provider of high-performance professional trading software, was awarded “Trading System of the Year, Buy-Side” by FOW magazine at the FOW Asia Awards today in Singapore. This marks the third consecutive FOW Asia Award for TT, after winning “Best New Product, Connectivity” last year and “Professional Traders ISV of the Year” in 2012.

TT’s MultiBroker solution, which launched in July 2013, has seen considerable traction in Asia over the past year, especially in Singapore’s commodity and energy trading space. MultiBroker provides direct market access (DMA) via multiple brokers from a single connection to TT’s TTNET™ global hosting solution, helping buy-side firms diversify their market access and execution risk. Additionally, the company introduced new order passing functionality and will soon connect to Hong Kong Futures Exchange Limited (HKFE), a wholly owned subsidiary of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx).

“Trading Technologies continues to impress us, particularly with the growth of its MultiBroker solution,” said William Mitting, editor and publisher of FOW. “TT’s recognition as this year’s best buy-side trading system is well deserved and they beat out a game field of competitors.”

“We are very grateful to FOW for this tremendous honor,” said Robbie McDonnell, EVP global sales for TT. “We’ve made great strides in Singapore and in the region as a whole, and I think this recognition speaks to our success in empowering the Asian trading community. That said, we remain focused on listening and responding to the unique needs of our customers, and we will continue to enhance our offering to them.”

Trading Technologies recently unveiled its next-generation platform, simply called TT, which will be delivered via the software-as-a-service (SaaS) model. Early-stage user onboarding will begin in Q4, and access will continue to expand into 2015.
