Configuring the Price Server Connection
For eSpeed Gateways, users must populate the hostinfo.cfg file with the exchange-provided connection information as listed in the section below.

Price Server Parameters
The following table describes the [PriceServer] parameters:
This is the section heading.
Sets the IP address that the eSpeed Gateway uses to connect the Price Server to the exchange.
The ExchangeIP parameter configures access to the exchange for the initial contract download.
The Price Server subscribes to the exchange’s multicast feed for real-time market data.
Sets the port assignment that the eSpeed Gateway uses to connect the Price Server to the exchange.
Identifies the name of the firm that sends messages from the eSpeed Gateway. This field supplies the value of the Tag 49 (SenderCompID) in all outbound messages for the product download.
Sets the exchange-provided session password and allows access to download product definitions.
Sets the exchange-provided username and allows access to download product definitions.
Sets the exchange-provided password that is specific for the credential listed in the session’s Username parameter. This value allows access to download product definitions.
Sets the name for each multicast group the eSpeed Gateway subscribes to. eSpeed Gateway install with the correct values listed for the MulticastGroup parameters and do not require an additional configuration.
This value matches the channel section header in the MuticastGroups.cfg file.
Sets the IP address for a dedicated network interface card (NIC) in trading environments that utilize multiple NICs.
In addition, you may assign a separate NIC for each price feed by using the NetworkInterfaceA and NetworkInterfaceB parameters.
