Allowing X_TRADER users to rebuild their workspaces prior to migration weekend

 

The steps in the following table can be performed by a TT User Setup (TTUS) administrator in a single-broker or X_TRADER ASP environment.

 TTUS Admin  Perform the following steps below:
Overall steps:
  • Add SFE-C and D to exchange trader MGT.
  • Add SFE-C and D to TTORD MGT
  • X_TRADER user must log out and back in again to pick up the additional gateways.
Instructions for adding SFE-C and D to Exchange Trader MGT:
  1. In the TT User Setup control panel, click | User Admin | Gateway Logins
  2. Filter “Gateway” column = SFE
  3. Tick “Hide TTORDs” (at the bottom of window)
  4. Tick "Expanded Gateway/Exchange Trader View"
  5. Sort by Exchange Member, Exchange Group, and Exchange Trader
  6. Select all MGTs using the same Exchange Trader (the list turns blue)
  7. Click “Add Gateways/Exchange Traders...”
Select gateways window:
  • Highlight ‘SFE-C and SFE-D’ and click ‘Select’.
  • “Adding Gateways” message will appear:
Once complete, you will be returned to the ‘Gateway Logins’ page, and will see SFE-C and SFE-D added to all MGT’s.
Instructions for adding SFE-C and D to TTORD MGT:
  1. In the TT User Setup control panel, click | User Admin | Gateway Logins
  2. Filter “Gateway” column = SFE
  3. Check “Hide exchange traders” (at the bottom of window)
  4. Check "Expanded Gateway/Exchange Trader View"
  5. Sort by Exchange Member, Exchange Group, and Exchange Trader
  6. Select all the TTORDS that use the same Exchange Trader (the list turns blue)
  7. Click “Add Gateways/Exchange Traders”
  8. A pop-up window appears. Select second option down (The selected TTORDs are already assigned...) and click ‘continue’.
  9. Select source gateway in left  pane (SFE).
  10. Highlight ‘SFE-C’ and ‘SFE-D’.
  11. Click ‘Ok’.
  12. “Adding Gateways” message appears:
  13. Once complete, you are returned to the ‘Gateway Logins’ page, and will see SFE-C and SFE-D added to all MGTs.
X_TRADER users can log off and log back in and see all new SFE NTP contracts, as well as the current SFE contracts. Product Name Formatting:Current SFE contracts = SFE SFE <product name>New NTP SFE contracts (that they should add into their new workspace) = SFE <product name>
