Trader and Firm Identification

TT Direct Trader IDs

TT Direct Traders must select the Exchange and complete the Member, Group, and Trader fields in Guardian as shown below:

  • Exchange: the TT Gateway Exchange-Flavor (e.g., SFE-A)
  • Member: must match the localcompany or member parameter found in the Order_Session section of the hostinfo.cfg file.
  • Group: a three-digit variable defined by the user.
  • Trader: a multi-digit variable defined by the user.

TTORD Trader IDs

You must map each TTORD trader to an exchange direct trader.

You must complete the following fields in Guardian to map a TTORD proxy trader to a direct trader:

  • Exchange: the TT Gateway Exchange-Flavor (e.g., SFE-A)
  • Member: a five- to eight-digit variable defined by the Exchange.
  • Group: a three-digit variable defined by the Firm
  • Trader: a three-digit variable defined by the Firm
    Note

By entering a member parameter in the SFEHostinfo.cfg, firms can override the Exchange-provided member portion (Sender Comp ID) of the MGT.

If a TTORD trader is mapped to a direct trader whose Member ID does not match the localcompany or member parameter found in the Order_Session section of the SFEHostinfo.cfg, the SFE Gateway rejects the transaction and forwards a No Router Found Matching Member ABCDE error message to the X_TRADER® Audit Trail.

If a TTORD trader submits a trade with an unrecognized account, the SFE Gateway rejects the transaction and forwards a Trader TTORDXX 001 001 is not allowed to use account |ABC| error message to the X_TRADER® Audit Trail.
